It is believed that Sotatsu Tawaraya who was an active painter in Edo period, painted this folding screen. However, he is a mysterious figure because no one knows exactly when he was born and when he died. In this picture Fujin, who is the spirit of the wind dashes out with a bag containing the wind, Rajin, who is the spirit of thunder, acts violently with his cloth streaming in the wind.
